    For the Dental Assistant course, students must be at least 18 years of age and have valid government-issued picture ID (driver’s license). You will also need a High School Diploma or Equivalent.

    Absolutely! We prepare all students for immediate employment. The successful career path to become a Dental or Medical Professional begins at Coastal Medical Training Institute LLC, a national online school. The courses contain the essential tools and testing preparation to achieve passing scores on a certification level.

    Upon successful completion of a course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from the school (CMTI) Coastal Medical Training Institute LLC then you will be eligible to take a Certification exam  through NHA (National Health Career Association) which is done at a testing site. NHA (National Healthcareer Association) examinations are accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). NHA has been certifying students since 1989!

    If you are a Dental Assistant student, you will be able to sit for the RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) exam through American Medical Technologists.• AMT (American Medical Technologists) examinations are accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). AMT has been certifying students since sine 1939!

    Licensing and Certification requirements are not the same in every state and may include educational, testing, and experiential requirements beyond those offered with CMTI. We recommend that all student research the state that they intend to be employed in. However, we do have students working all over the county.

    We train and fully prepare our students to apply for employment immediately after graduation by also helping train students for the interviewing process.  Our students are fully confident in themselves when they graduate and are fully prepared to start their new career. We provide a step-by-step career guide and a professional resume upon course completion.

    The courses have multiple course questions, and the final exam has multiple-choice questions. You can take the quizzes as often as you like, and the final exam can be taken up to three times if needed. There is no fee to retake your final exam. If someone does not pass the final on the THIRD attempt, they will be required to retake the course if they wish to continue.

    The courses are designed to be taken from a computer, laptop or cellphone.

    We are a privately owned Proprietary School and are not able to provide grants and so forth because we do not receive government, federal or state funding.

    A registration fee is the administrative charge for enrolling in the school. Tuition fees are the actual cost of the course.

    It is $50. With this fee, it will also guarantee to hold your spot.  We do not have unlimited availability.  The registration fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable.

    14 weeks. Students must fully complete their course and have a zero balance by Friday at 12:00pm central time on their last day of the scheduled course.  If an extension is needed, it must be requested in an email to gwalker@cmtitraining.com for board review and a decision.

    Yes, for the Medical Assistant course. You will need to purchase a phlebotomy training kit, which is only $59.95.

    No. Students have 24-hour access to their online course and can work on it when they make the time. We recommend that students spend about an hour a day on their course.

    We highly recommend that all students become CPR certified. Students can Google providers in their area. It is important to take a course through “American Heart” and be trained in BLS/AED. You will need CPR training to take your RDA exam. You must become CPR trained before you can sit for the RDA.

    It is not a requirement in most states to work as an entry level Dental Assistant but in most states Dental offices will want you to have it if they require you to take x rays. Your online course provides all the educational preparation for you to take your Dental Radiology permit exam. Most junior colleges provide the “Dental Radiology seminar and testing” which is normally all day on a Friday or a Saturday. Fees vary between $100 to $340, depending on where you go and are normally given once a month or once every six (6) weeks.
