Our Mission & Vision

CMTI Training Institute began with a vision by Toni Waldron, who started her career as a community education instructor in Gulfport, Mississippi. With a passion for teaching and helping students build healthcare careers, Toni began offering a small, in-person Dental Assistant course. Her dedication to her students and commitment to accessible healthcare education helped CMTI grow into the school it is today.

As the demand for flexible and affordable healthcare training grew, CMTI expanded into a licensed private career school offering career-focused programs designed to prepare students for national certification examinations through organizations including the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), and American Allied Health (AAH).

Today, CMTI serves students through interactive online coursework, instructor-led support, and Virtual Interactive Clinical Training using SIMTICS. Mississippi students enrolled in programs requiring hands-on clinical training also complete an in-person clinical component in Gulfport, Mississippi. Our programs are designed to combine flexible learning with practical training and instructor support to help students develop the knowledge and skills needed to pursue opportunities in healthcare.

Our mission is to provide accessible, affordable, and effective career training while supporting students from enrollment through program completion and certification preparation.

Our vision is to help students gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to pursue meaningful careers and create new opportunities for themselves and their families.
