CMTI’s Medical Assistant program prepares students for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) examination offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

The structured Medical Assistant program is 14 weeks.
Is the program online?
Yes. Coursework is completed online. Students who are able to attend locally may also participate in available Saturday Skills Labs at CMTI’s Mississippi clinical training location.
Does the program prepare me for national certification?
The program prepares students for the NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant examination. Certification is awarded independently by NHA to eligible candidates who meet its requirements.
What is the program tuition?
Medical Assistant program tuition is $699.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. CMTI offers flexible tuition payment schedules, including weekly, biweekly and monthly options.
What are Saturday Skills Labs?
Skills Labs give participating students an opportunity to practice selected healthcare skills with instructor guidance at CMTI’s Mississippi clinical training location.
What is the Skills Lab materials and supply fee?
The planned materials and supply fee is $25. Participating Medical Assistant students may receive selected training supplies such as a basic scrub set and student stethoscope.
How long do I have access to my course?
Students receive up to six months of course access from enrollment, subject to CMTI policies.
