Students must be at least 18years of age or older. Must provide government issued picture ID and High School Diploma or G.E.D. Licensing and Certification requirements are not the same in every state and may include educational testing, and experiential requirements beyond those offered in Coastal Medical Training’s Medical Assistant Training Program. Most states do not require any formal education for entry-level Medical Assisting.

A High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent is needed to become a Medical Assistant. CMTI will provide you with a certificate of completion and the means to pass your certification exam.
