Coastal Medical Training Institute Phlebotomy Technician Course
The Phlebotomy Technician Course is an accelerated online training program that prepares you to perform venipuncture, or blood draw, in various settings. In this eight-week course, you will learn the theoretical and practical aspects of phlebotomy, as well as the ethical and legal issues involved.
You will also learn how to deal with common problems or challenges that may arise during blood collection, such as difficult veins, fainting, bleeding, or infection.
We provide students with the latest interactive clinical training modules plus, we provide our students with a phlebotomy training kit, which includes a prosthetic arm, and everything needed to perform blood draws.
Upon successful completion of the phlebotomy technician course, you will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to become a competent and confident phlebotomist. You will also be eligible to take the national certification exam ( CPT) Certified Phlebotomy Technician offered by American Allied Health. This is included with your tuition.
